Free Motion Appliqué Christmas Cards. Saturday 12th Sept. 10am-1pm or 2pm-5pm

I really hope you can come along and join me on this workshop, where you will be able to enjoy a little bit of ‘Me’ time whilst working in a creative, fun and friendly environment.

WHERE AND WHEN: Cabbage Rose, in the Foxlowe, Leek. Saturday 12th December. 10am-1pm or 2pm-5pm

WHAT YOU WILL MAKE: A Beautiful Free Motion stitched and Applique Christmas card design. I will then take these away, scan them in, add your details to the reverse of the card and send them off to be professionally printed. You will receive 20 cards (additional multiples of 20 can be ordered for an extra charge)

PRICE: £40.00

SKILL LEVEL: Suitable for absolute beginners, those who haven’t attempted free machine embroidery will have time to have a play and a practice.

WHAT YOU WILL LEARN: I will show you how to set up the sewing machine so that it is ready to do free motion sewing, allowing you to learn how to sew freely. I will introduce you to suitable fabrics to use to make your work look more professional, I will show you how to use stabilisers to help you. You will be shown how to do applique to further develop your work.

WHAT’S INCLUDED: All materials and equipment, use of one of my sewing machines. 20 printed cards plus your original design. Refreshments and a sweet treat.

THE SERIOUS STUFF:

-The workshop space is on the first floor, and accessed by stairs.

-A selection of hot & cold drinks will be provided, along with a sweet treat.

-Payment is non refundable, if you cannot attend I will try my best to fill your space, but if this is not possible, I am afraid I cannot provide a refund.

-In the event that I have to cancel, a full refund will be given.

-If you have any specific medical conditions, allergies or dietary requirements, please let me know.

-Places on the workshop are limited and can only be secured with a full payment.

If you are feeling apprenhensive about coming alone, please don’t be, many people come on their own. I will do my very best to make sure you feel comfortable and enjoy your time on my workshop.
