After School Sewing Club-Weds 22nd April. Pin cushion

This class is aimed at helping youngsters learn how to use a sewing machine, including, setting up the machine correctly, filling a bobbin and learning how the different stitches.

They will learn about accurate cutting, seam allowances and finishing and starting seams. They will then go on to create their own patchwork pin cushion and Needle case(if we have time) which they can take away with them at the end of the session. (All materials and and equipment provided)

Drinks and a snack will be provided at each session.

I aim for this to be a friendly, inclusive, relaxed environment where the students can learn and develop new skills, make new friends and hopefully find a love for sewing!

I am a trained secondary Art, Design and Textiles teacher with an enhanced DBS certificate.

These session are non refundable and non transferable, I will try my best to fill your space if you cannot come, but if I am unable to I won’t be able to refund.
