Home Ed Session Week 1 -Drawing. Monday 13th April
Home Education Art & Design. Week 1 - Drawing. Monday 13th April
This session will be aimed at developing confidence through drawing. The students will experiment with a wide variety of drawing techniques, giving them knowledge and understanding of different ways to draw, trying to erase the ‘I can’t draw’ way of thinking.
We will work with a mixture of materials, and they will build a collection of drawings that will give them ideas and processes for future work.
All materials and equipment will be provided along with water, juice and snacks.
We recommend the students bring along a sketchbook or small A4 folder to keep their work together.
This is a relaxed, friendly space where young people can explore creativity, experiment with materials, and make new friends while learning new artistic skills.
Why not come along and join Deb and Jo for some creative fun. Deb is a qualified primary school teacher and private SEN Teacher, Jo is a qualified secondary Art and Design teacher. Both Deb and Jo also run their own creative workshops for adults and mixed aged children in a number of locations. We both have enhanced DBS Certificates. (The sessions will be run by Jo with Deb coming along to help out as much as possible)
Activities will be adaptable for different ages and abilities, allowing children to explore freely and develop techniques and personal projects.
Our aim is to create a supportive, inspiring environment where children can:
✨ express themselves creatively
✨ build confidence in their ideas
✨ collaborate with others
✨ enjoy the process of making
No previous art experience is needed — just curiosity and a willingness to get creative!
Bookings are non transferable and non refundable.
If there are no Bookings by 12pm on on the Friday before, the session will be cancelled.
Any questions, please do ask.
